    Remarks & Notes
During two weekends this winter, one in January and one in February Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Railway in Alna, Maine ran "Steam and Sleighs" events. Passengers boarded the train at Sheepscot Station and could go to Top of the Mountain for snowshoeing or to Alna Center for sleigh rides. The event turned out to be very popular with full trains all day. Here the fireman prepares for the 10:30 train to depart Sheepscot.
