| With the snow continuing to build and crews unable to carry out the mandatory FRA inspection, Union Pacific chose to run a spreader train over the Craig Branch between Phippsburg and Steamboat Springs to cut back the snowbanks. The venerable ex D&RGW AX-45 rounds the curve in Oak Creek with the next snowstorm looming in the distance. |
