What a difference 3 days make! A powerful winter storm beat on the Iowa landscape all day Sunday winds whipped up to 60 mph and some snowfall. The effects were pretty serve around the state! Railroads were drifted in pretty severely, and it would days to get some lines back open. Here the Iowa Northern trys to push deep snow back from their Oelwein Sub south of Dunkerton. Just 4 days earlier things were alot easier here ( http://www.mymm001.cn/photo/689072/ ). The crew would end up breaking the plow during the evening push north to Oelwein. The snow hasn't been as bad as I have seen it in years pass, but the ice and wind are in the top 5!
