| It’s been nearly 21 years since the Burlington Northern ceased to exist as an independent Class I railroad after its merger with Santa Fe in 1996. Although, with one of its numerous SD40-2 locos posing next to a BN trailer in Pueblo, one might think the mighty BN is still alive and doing well since its March 2nd 1970 inception. |
