Remarks & Notes

Minnesota - A Union Pacific northbound became stuck in a drift south of Ellendale, MN and rescue engine also became snowbound. The crews were extracted by emergency personnel. Late on 2/26 Hulcher crews have cleared snow around the lead two units. The engines did not derail but were lifted by Hulcher to clear packed snow from the undercarriage. The remainder of the power and train had been pulled south.
