| "Amtrak Electric at Morris Park Station"
Amtrak ACS-64 #637 hauls Regional train 173 past the old NYNH&H RR Morris Park Station on Amtrak's Hell Gate Line. The station was originally built for the Harlem River and Port Chester Railroad, a branch line of the New York, New Haven & Hartford in the 1870s then replaced with the station house seen in this photo later on. The station was closed with others and decades later became the home of a local gun club. |
