A massive BC Rail GF6C with a test train at Tumbler Ridge. The last electrified BC Rail train on the Tumbler Sub was 10/1/2000. The catenary was removed shortly thereafter, and the GF6Cs all scrapped...except for this one. The 6001 was privately purchased and donated to the Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum, apparently in operating condition if supplied with 50kV AC. A K. Ross Pugsley original Kodachrome slide from my collection.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
