| Mixed manifest train 172 used to traverse the S line on its way to Linwood. It now been diverted so no longer follows the river or runs through Asheville and down the Old Fort loops. Also gone are the standard cab dash 9s, one of which is trailing in ths consist. Here train 172 is tied down in the siding at Hot Springs waiting for a fresh crew. |
