In the low sun of May 19, 1995, northbound Wisconsin Central No. 45 roars down the main line at Byron, Wisconsin. Lead F45 No. 5959 has recently graduated from high-speed service across the west on the Santa Fe to lugging trains through America’s Dairyland for its new owner.
