Near the end of its career, one of VIA's United Aircraft TurboTrains pauses at suburban Dorval, Quebec, 12 miles into its 335-mile Montreal-Toronto journey. The Turbos were mechanically challenging but when healthy they easily cruised at 90 mph on good track.
