      Remarks & Notes
In the early 1970's the Quebec North Shore and Labrador began retiring some of the GP-9's as SD40's and SD40-2's came onto the roster. Four GP9's are stored at the Coal Chute in CPR's St. Luc Yard. They will become leasers for Bellequip or Precision National and then go to the C&NW in 1976. The Coal Chute is long gone but crews today still refer to the fuelling area as the Coal Chute.
