| Parallel run of two passenger trains down the Gotthard south ramp between Airolo and Ambri-Piotta. Viewed from the Eurovapor train with locomotives Ae 6/6 # 11407 of association Mikado 1244 and former austrian railway 1020 # 042, the steamtrain with 2-10-0 50 # 3673 (privately owned and operated by association Verbano Express at Luino/Italy) was photographed. In the rear of the train on the left side are two former french railway SNCF INOX "Mistral" cars, built in 1963 by Carél et Fouché. One is a second class seat cars, the other a bistro/bar car, both owned by "Verein 1020.042". |
