VIA train 19, Le Saint-Laurent, provided local service through the St. Lawrence valley between Mont-Joli and Montreal. It had almost completed its run as it paused to discharge passengers at St. Lambert, Quebec, across the river from Montreal. GMD-built FP9 6524 was in charge of the short consist.
