| NS local C52 accelerates through Alto Interlocking in downtown Altoona and under the old signal bridge guarding the east end of this interlocking. This signal bridge would later be removed as Alto interlocking was completely redone by NS several years later and a new signal bridge was built just west of the photographer's vantage point. |
