| The Union Pacific Steam Special getting underway after a short servicing stop on the main line at Point of Rocks, Wyoming. I saw some inspection and lubrication being done on the fireman’s side and some was probably done on the engineer’s side as well, but I did not see that side. Since the stop was right beside I80 at an exit, it did not take long for a crowd to arrive. Barely visible in the background is the headlight of a stopped westbound stack train pulled up behind the steam special. |
