Mother's day round trip of SBB Historic with the "Wyl?nderli" push-pull train, with railcar BFe 4/4 # 1643, dining car WR # 10112 and cab car ABt # 1715. The train is crossing the viaduct of Bussnang on the former Mittel-Thurgau-Bahn line Weinfelden-Wil. The journey was from Zürich via Bülach-Eglisau-Schaffhausen-Stein am Rhein-Kreuzlingen-Berg-Weinfelden-Wil-Winterthur-Wallisellen back to Zürich. Similar push-pull trains, but with a second class lightweight car in the middle instead of a dining car, were common in the 1950' to 1980' on secondary lines of the SBB network. The railcar BFe 4/4 # 1643 is based at Winterthur and operated by the Be 4/6-Team.
