| This TZPR job is pulling five Komatsu mining truck chassis from the plant on its way back to the yard. Of historical interest are the tracks in the foreground which are slowly disappearing into the ground. These tracks are from the CB&Q (BN) which had a small yard just behind me. The "Q" crossed the P&PU (TZPR predecessor) and continued on to the TP&W bridge over the Illinois River. The P&PU tracks (which the train is on) continued on to the old Peoria Union Station (now long gone). |
