| TGV POS # 4412 of the Lyria (joint venture between SNCF and SBB) is running the TGV 9216 from Berne via Basel-Mulhouse-Belfort-Montbéliard TGV to Paris-Gare de Lyon near Bollodingen between Riedtwil and Herzogenbuchsee. This high speed train has to use the curvy line via Burgdorf instead of the 200 km/h "NBS" (Neubaustrecke/highspeed line) between Mattstetten and Rothrist because of lacking the appropriate train protection system ETCS L2. From december 2019, this TGV train from and to Berne will be discontinued. |
