Remarks & Notes

The Anthracite Railroads Historical Society 1989 convention excursion with the first run of the group's restored CNJ 56 EMD F3 heads west past Kovatch Mobile Equipment Group, builder of fire and rescue trucks as well as other custom fire apparatus. The excursion ran from Jim Thorpe to Haucks, PA and return with Panther Valley Railroad 2930 U33B on the east end powering the train.
