A colorful locomotive consist leads BNSF HPASKCK dropping downgrade on Mullan Pass approaching the west siding switch at Austin, Montana, on September 12, 2010. BNSF warbonnet C44-9W No. 729 leads Heritage II sister No. 4536, former Conrail C40-8W now NS No. 8323, former Santa Fe BNSF No. 8211 and Montana Rail Link SDP40 No. 290. This train is about to meet a westbound in siding led by BNSF No. 4730.
