An E8-powered Penn Central commuter train operated for the MBTA between Boston an Providence pulls into the station at Attleboro, MA, where a good size rush hour crowd will exit. Meanwhile, my friend Linda waiting on the platform hopes I'll finish my train thing soon so we can do something more interesting. :-)
The 70's and 80's were a transition period for the MBTA characterized by an eclectic mix of equipment including Budd RDC's, ex-New Haven stainless steel coaches, and a mix of motive power acquired from various railroads.
