| Chesapeake Western's Elkton crew prepares a reverse move to pick up the yard crew's empties, air up, clear the Y and proceed West across the diamond on its way to the NS yard in Shenandoah. Hopefully before the approaching thunderstorm catches them! The concrete foundations in the foreground where that of the grain silos of a once thriving Cooperative feed mill. Several tracks used to lay to the right of the foundations and kept the CW yard crew busy switching empty & loaded grain cars. The mill succumbed to the areas newer grain elevators. |
