| Due to recent changes NS is implementing a number of trains is getting either cut or on duty times are being moved to night time. With that being said 172 is one of those trains. It and 173 will be getting moved off the Piedmont Division to another line. With a solid UP consist the last 172 splits the signals at Bessemer City. It will continue north to Linwood where it will terminate. |
