| BNSF Railway empty ethanol train U-WATAXT7-16A (Unit Train; Watson CA to ... Axtell NE) passes under the signal bridge at milepost 58.2 as it climbs Cajon Pass in southern California. A mix of BNSF and Union Pacific power is on the head-end - BNSF ET44C4 3996, UP AC4400CW 5974 and BNSF ES44C4 6750. There are three BNSF mainlines crossing Cajon Pass: Two here, and a third off the left and down the hill a bit. The three lines separate at Cajon and rejoin each other at Summit. |
