    Remarks & Notes
Indiana Harbor Belt owns two RP15BDF locomotives, 1506 and 1508, which are dual-fuel engines, operating on either diesel fuel or liquified natural gas (LNG). Photographed at the IHB's engine facility at Gibson Yard in Hammond, Indiana, is RP15BDF 1508, which was created by extensively rebuilding IHB SW1500 1508 (ex-IHB 9208), with the work done by American Motive Power. More SW1500 to RP15BDF conversions are planned, along with conversion of their GP40-2 fleet. Photographed on railroad property with permission and full personal protection equipment (PPE).
