A long Chicago South Shore & South Bend freight train makes its way eastward down the center of the center of Michigan City, Indiana's 11th Street on September 28, 2018. There have been rumors for years that this line may be relocated to eliminate this street running, but it hasn't happened yet. A pair of GP38-2s, 2001 and 2005, are pulling this manifest - and they avoided parking in this no parking zone, of course! (The overhead catenary is for the railroad's electric passenger trains.)
