Springfield Terminal Railway 44-Tonner #1 conducts interstate commerce as it hauls a propane tanker off the Connecticut River rail/highway bridge connecting North Charlestown, NH, with Springfield, VT. At the time the bridge was owned by the railroad, and highways tolls were a significant source of income.
