Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 767 heads to Goleta from San Diego on November 24, 2018. Amtrak P42DC 202 is shoving this train through Orange, California, next to the new tennis courts at Chapman University. With most of the twenty-year-old F59PHIs have been sent east to Chicago, and new owner Metra, P42DCs are filling in on the Surfliners until more of the new Siemens "Charger" SC-44 locomotives arrive. Ten minutes later, by the time southbound Pacific Surfliner 768 passes this same spot, there will not be much sun as the clouds quickly gather.
