Amtrak train 715, a San Joaquin traveling from Bakersfield to Oakland's Jack London Square station, makes a stop in Merced, California (which is also a crew change point) on June 14, 2019. Powering this train is CDTX 2106, an SC-44 "Charger" built in Sacramento, not far from Merced.
