Remarks & Notes

An eastbound (southbound) Wisconsin Central dirt train is just north of Byron, Wisconsin on the morning of December 3, 1994. A cool lash up of SDL39 No. 584, SD45 No. 6598 and Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range SD9 No. 161 power the train up Byron Hill. This is the only sunny photo we got on this short winter day, as clouds were quickly rolling in.
