Still going strong after 37 years, XP2005 trails the daylight Sydney to Melbourne service east of the town of Goulburn, 200km south-west of Sydney. These iconic trains, based on the British HST sets, are due to be replaced within the next few years, with new diesel railcars ordered to replace them.
