For a brief time in Oregon, locomotives of the mid-20th century and the early 21st century worked side by side. On Labor Day 1994, two brand new SD70Ms cool their heels in the siding at Labish, while an eastman led by a venerable SD9 "Cadillac" zooms by on the main.
