| With most of NJT’s cab cars being OOS for PTC installations NJT was forced to place motors on the east end of trains to sub for a cab car. On this day, NJ Transit placed one of only two F40’s that remain active on the railroad on the east end of the Bay Street shuttle. The train is seen here departing Bloomfield on its way east back to Hoboken. |
