Wonderful yellow and orange autumn colours and a green glowing mountain lake around Alp Grüm. In the foreground the Lago Palü, a natural lake, which also serves as a compensation reservoir (daily storage of 150,000 m3) for the REPower water power station. The Palü hydroelectric power station, built in 1927, is located in the forest above it. Train 1625 of the Rhaetian Railway with an "Allegra" ABe 8/12 and 6 cars travels 7.0 % downhill in the direction of Stablini-Cavaglia-Poschiavo and Tirano. Through the snow protection galleries, the route of the train through the loops is clearly visible, as is the panoramic curve of Alp Grüm.
