| Returning back to California for the first time under its own power, UP 4014 Big Boy steam locomotives roars with life as it climbs over the summit of Cima Hill. The Big Boy stopped here for a scheduled service stop and hundreds of people gather in the middle of the Mojave Desert to witness the historic machine grind up the one percent grade. From here, the steam train will head to Yermo, CA and layover for the night before making the last leg of its trip into Los Angeles on its "Great Race Across the Southwest" tour. |
