Somewhat a normal afternoon tradition, is the Waterloo Switcher clearing up for the Oelwein job around Armour. Today the switcher got in the clear on the grease tracks at Tyson Foods. Now the Oelwein job continues north towards Fairbank and Oelwein with their daily afternoon trek. This tradition started early this year when the IANR took over the operations of the UP Waterloo Industrial Lead on the eastside of Waterloo sometime in sometime in April. Tyson Foods, John Deere, and Watco Transload are the 3 main customers out here at Armour. What I have seen the switcher crew does this work in the afternoon and has to normally clear for the 15:00 Oelwein Job to get by.
