      Now on display at Chemainus as the "McMillan Bloedel Logging Train" #1044 is a 2-6-2 "Prairie" tank locomotive. She was built in 1924 for logging operations on Vancouver Island and was in operation through the 1960s making her one of the last operating steam locomotives in BC.
