| A photo years in the making...It has already been so many years since Union Pacific asked Railgiants for the opportunity to bring 4014 back to life. The planning and preparation for the RailGiants Excursion behind 4014 started years ago as well. Here I was the Saturday morning of the excursion at 7:15am in Colton yard, having just finished setting up our retail car. I wanted to get my photos before the passengers arrived and the lighting was perfect with the sun having risen just 15 minutes prior. I definitely took a few moments to let it sink in that the day had finally come, and what a wonderful day it turned out to be. I am so thankful for the opportunity I had to be a part of the excursion as the Retail Sales Manager and the entire journey from 2013 to now with the UP Steam Crew. |
