The Central Vermont piggyback train known as the Rocket storms north through Millers Falls, MA, behind a "torpedo boat" GP9 and a smoking RS11. At the time this dedicated intermodal service ran between Palmer, MA, and St. Albans, VT. Later a Boston section was added via the B&M. The tracks to its left are the B&M Fitchburg mainline, which briefly parallels the CV here.
