BNSF 1001 leading a westbound stack train waits for a signal to clear at Edmonds, WA before completing its trip along Puget Sound from Everett to Seattle. Edmonds was and may still be a bottle neck along the route as it was single tracked through town on what otherwise is now a double track line between Everett and Seattle.
