Remarks & Notes

The newest acquisition of the Vale of Rheidol Railway is this NGG (Narrow Gauge Garratt) 13 # 60 "Drakensberg", which came in 2017 from the Schinznacher Baumschulbahn in Switzerland. This locomotive was built by Hanomag/Germany in 1927. Frame, boiler and cab are seen in the workshop of Aberystwyth in revision.
