    Remarks & Notes
When Portland & Western started operating, they inherited a GM Parts Distribution Center as a customer on the former Oregon Electric. The light rail project to Portland's west suburbs was built on the old OE main line grade. Trackage to the GM facility paralleled the light rail line for a distance. In this image, a train is preparing to head up the spur to the shipper. In the distance, a light rail vehicle is being unloaded from a flatcar.
