| BNSF has a menagerie of rebuilds that started life as Second-Gen geeps, and wound up as GP39s of some sort, but this is a renumbered GP39-2 that was among the big group of 39-2s that Santa Fe acquired in the mid-1970s. That track may not look like it, but it is the main into/out of the former SL-SF (AT&N) yard in Mobile. |
