    Remarks & Notes
Amtrak 495, one of five ex-PRR E8s that were rebuilt with HEP to make them Amfleet compatible, sails south through Windsor Locks, CT, on a Springfield-New Haven run. Rebuilds 495-499 were Amtrak's last active E-units and generally worked out of New Haven to Springfield and Boston.
