CR 3268 leads an eastbound freight out of Ft. Madison, IA, passing the old fort and Santa Fe northern no. 2913 along the way. It will cross the Mississippi and race east across Illinois to Streator for its run through connection with Conrail, avoiding Chicago terminal congestion.
