      Remarks & Notes
      No Drone Was Harmed
R171, led by RF&P GP40-2 143, is westbound on the Philadelphia Sub in Rosedale, MD on January 23, 1988. The hotshot is the former OBSS, yet is still referred to as the Orange Blossom Special by operating personnel. The lead unit is crossing Moores Run, right at the Baltimore County/Baltimore City boundary line, and is about one mile west of the Rosedale signals at mp 87.1. Note the bridging of Moores Run—capable of accommodating four tracks.

The ramp from northbound I-95 to westbound Moravia Road was not a particularly safe vantage point (to put it mildly), and likely would’ve been “frowned upon” by the Maryland Toll Facilities Police.
