| Known as the Bay Head loop, the Bay Head running track is used by just about every train to arrive Bay Head. However, the installation of the new “BORNE” Interlocking has allowed for the elimination of a few trains that previously used the loop. This Long Branch to Bay Head shuttle has just departed its last stop of Bay Head and is seen here on the Bay Head runner. The train will sit in Bay Head Yard for about two hours before beginning its trip back to Long Branch as train 4748. |
