"Virginian Heritage on Lake Pontchartrain" Norfolk Southern's Virginian Heritage SD70ACe leads Alabama Division train 355 south over the Lake Pontchartrain Railroad Bridge while on it's way to Oliver Yard in New Orleans. At 5.8 miles long, the Lake Pontchartrain Railroad Bridge is the longest railroad bridge in the United States and the longest rail bridge over water in the world.
