CNW 6812 leads a westbound freight towards Rodell, WI, location of a passing siding east of Fall Creek. It will head into the siding for a meet before finishing its trip into Altoona, about 10 miles west. The 6812 was acquired in December 1973 as part of the firest order for SD40-2s. Note white on black numberboards and the offset logo on the cab. Following orders centered the logo and used white numberboards with black numbers as seen on the trailing unit.
