| This great looking set of 5 Utah Ry. 6 axle units in the traditional red & grey colors is just entering the Union Pacific Helper Yard. They will roll right through the yard and continue on east through Price before making a right turn onto the Castle Valley spur for loading at the Savage loadout. I’ve been taking photos of Utah Ry. operations since about 1980, but only today realized that this UTAH paint scheme reminded me a lot of the Southern Pacific “Bloody Nose” scheme. |
